Rules
- Teams are responsible for their own kits and tools. Network cable to he game network will be provided.
- The network is hostile. Connect at your own risk.
- Uninvited, physical access to any game or contestant equipment is prohibited.
- Physical coercion is prohibited.
- Denial of Service attacks are prohibited.
- Bandwidth usage is monitored for scoring purposes.
- There are two ways of scoring:
Automatic: handled by the scoring server. These points are kept up to date in near real time.
Modifiers: points that are awarded based on extra credit events. These points are not maintained real-time and will be updated at random times.
- Scoring is based on rounds. Team must have their flag placed at the end of a round to gain points.
- Highest score at the end wins.
- Final score is determined by scoreboard score + bonuses + penalties.
- The scoreboard will not always include all bonuses and penalties.
- Judges rulings are final. However, judges are not infallible. If you feel a ruling was unfair, make a polite complaint to a judge to review the case.
- Judges can modify the target systems at anytime.
- Each team must have a captain. The team captain is responsible for communications with the judges.
- All contestants must observe breaks.
- It is the teams responsibility to ensure security of their communications with judges.
